Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how your personal data is collected and used when you contact us through this website. In short: we use the details you send us only to reply to your enquiry — nothing else.
1. Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is Lukáš Muladi, a self-employed person (OSVČ) with registered place of business at Paskovská 229, 739 24 Krmelín, Czech Republic, Business ID (IČO): 09302794.
For any question about your data or to exercise your rights, contact us at booking@groomsgloves.com.
2. What data we collect
When you submit the booking enquiry form, we collect the information you provide:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your preferred date
- Your group size
- Any message you send us
If you consent to analytics/marketing cookies, we and Google also collect standard usage data (such as pages viewed, approximate location and device/browser type) via Google Analytics. We also store a small record of your cookie choices and the time you made them.
3. Why we use it and our legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry. We use the form data solely to reply to you and to take steps at your request before a possible booking. Legal basis: performance of a contract / pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We do not use your enquiry data for marketing.
- Analytics and marketing cookies. Only if you give consent via the cookie banner. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time via “Manage consent” in the footer.
4. Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Netlify, Inc. — website hosting, form processing and email delivery (USA).
- Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC — Google Analytics and Tag Manager, only with your consent.
We do not sell your data and do not share it with anyone else, except where required by law.
5. Transfers outside the EU
Some of these providers (Netlify, Google) may process data on servers outside the European Union, including in the USA. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don’t lead to a booking: only for as long as needed to deal with your request, and at most 12 months after our last contact, then we delete them.
- If your enquiry leads to a booking: we keep accounting documents for 5 years and tax documents for up to 10 years, as required by Czech law (Act No. 563/1991 Coll. on Accounting; Act No. 235/2004 Coll. on VAT).
- Cookie consent records: kept as proof of consent for a reasonable period.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to processing, request data portability, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email booking@groomsgloves.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech supervisory authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), www.uoou.cz.
8. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to run the site and — only with your consent — analytics and marketing cookies. Until you accept, analytics runs in a privacy-preserving (cookieless) mode. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Manage consent” in the footer.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the “last updated” date shown at the top.
